A important message from Coach Kos, LMHC
The NCAA released a survey on mental health to 37,000 student-athletes. They concluded, that the concerns for mental health had risen and this year as we know the suicide rates for female student-athletes alone has tripled.

Numerous factors were raised for considering transfer
Among the survey participants, 8% indicated that it was likely they would transfer at some point during the 2001-22 academic year. Mental health, conflict with the coach or teammates and playing time where the most cited reasons to consider transfer at some point during the year. These reasons varied for participants in men’s and women’s sports and by division. Hover over chart for details.

We also give keys to creating a team culture that focuses on a holistic mindset that leads to better performance on and off the field. Each coach will receive our digital handbook and a certificate of completion.
